Google acquired Quickoffice

"Google issued a succinct announcement on Tuesday, stating it had acquired cross-platform mobile productivity app makers Quickoffice, and that Quickoffice will soon be integrated into the Google Apps product suite."

That's good news for anyone using google drive (former name: google docs). I look forward in seeing document editing capabilities built-in into android mobile platform without the need of purchasing additional third party software. Hopefuly this will happen in the upcoming release, codenamed "Jelly Bean"
